Moroccan rose harvest
A brief, but amazing trip to the rose growing region of Morocco, where beautifully aromatic pink roses are grown, harvested and processed to make rose water, rose oil and various other extracts, used in cosmetics, food and traditional medicines.
I went to shoot a short documentary about the rose region, and capture images - a long drive through the Atlas Mountains, and around the town of El Kelaat M'Gouna. A wonderful experience - beautiful scenery, great hospitality and wonderful tagines to eat!
